Fire Starter !!

I'm looking for a nice fire starter to go with my Fallkniven DC4 combi stone. Idea is to strap it onto my sheath (or carry it in a pack etc).

Can you fellas help me ??
 
:thumbup:Misch metal ferro rods from Goingear. A number of different sizes and the things are flamethrowers once you get the hang of it. I prefer them over any other ferro rod I've tried.--KV
 
Spark-Lite firestarter + Quick-Fire tinder works very well and takes up almost no space at all.

man that thing is insane - what do you use for tinder
 
how do you carry everything - on sheath or in a little peli case or something
 
1/2 a pjcb folded over in a small square of duct tape. Cut the tape open with an x cut and fluff up the pjcb well. The duct tape makes it easy to carry 2 or 3 under the 550 cord wrap on my fixed blade sheath. Ive also got a small stick of fatwood under there.--KV
