Yes good products and a good guy. I have at least 12 of his fire steels. Ranger in the sheath. The GOB spark at home that I practice with and two of the 5 sets spread out across vehicles, packs and other areas. Also have the two of the small "tab" size steels. One on my keychain and I go thru TSA security every week with no issues and one tied into the laces of my hunting boots.

The big steels throw sparks like an arc welder! Also a good place to get magnesium blocks.
 
Good products and great service. I have more of his fire steels than I can count. Particularly like the pre drilled steels.
 
I have a couple of them too. Good firesteels I have to admit but the owner is a PITA to deal with. I had problem in placing an order beacause I live in France and because nothing tells he doesn't ship outside the US whereas one can choose any country of delivery in the order form. I send him about 5 Emails in a 2 months period about this problem and never had an answer.
In the end I asked an US friend of mine to place the order and forward me the box. In the box, I've found a written note to let me know he doesn't ship abroad. IMHO, it would have been clever to put this note on the website.

Maybe just bad luck for me but I had to let you know the owner is impossble to reach by Email in case of prblem.

I the future I'll go on with the Sweedish firesteels.

On the website under shipping he says "Orders shipped outside the USA are via USPS International Express and require about 1-week". Kinda odd since it seems like you can enter a French address in the order form. Anyway, I did not have a problem with my order there and have been happy with the firesteels.

Yes, it seems one can place an Internationnal order...but it didn't work out. No bitter feeling here, I just wanted to let people know Ron don't answer Email (at least mine) in case of problem. Maybe he can pick phone calls....
