Fire Steel

Hi Chris,

I klooked at the US and Canadianb pricing for the Large Military Fire-steel and saw that our Scoutingclub could have really earned a lot of money.
I (we) used to sell a bunch of them for $7.50 and later for $8 a piece including !! postage by Airmail to the US.

We have since then run out of our "surplus" Large Firesteels but if and only IF we can find a buch of people who want some we could try and buy another 100

Large Firesteels and use about 50 for our new scouting kids and for neighbour Scouting clubs and use the "extra" 50 to sell to interested people.

With increased postage costs these Large Firesteels would probably go for $10 a piece including Airmail to the US and almost all other countries of our Globe except a few "unreachable" ones that would have slightly higher Postage costs.

So it could be a kind of "power buy" as we would need to be shure that we don't get stuck with a surplus of 50 Firesteels of the 100 we bought as a Scouting club we just don't have the money to spare to finance this as outdoor activities with our kids are our primary goal.

Best scouting wishes from Holland,

Bagheera

I earned my Eagle Scout in 1985 here in the US. I'd gladly help you support your troop. I'll take a couple if you decide to do a purchase.

I will take at least 2 or 3 if you have any left.

Lee Valley is selling the small version for $14.95 CA. Bagheera is talking about the much larger version - and offering a very good price on it.

Hi Bagheera
I'll take 2 or 3 if your order comes in. Just let me know by e-mail.

Thanks,

sarge
