First of all, I need to say thanks to Andy and crew at Fiddleback Forge that pushed me to get out there and throw my hat into the "Maker" ring. In appreciation, I've made a coupon for $5 off with the code "Fiddleback".

I've launched suffolkmetalworks.com in an attempt to keep things straight and have some possibility of keeping track of things as you can see I'm operating off the dining room table.

For now, I plan to expand the striker offerings as well as make some more balsa and leather strops. I've also got some projects in motion for different compounds to go with the strops. Anyway, the initial driver here was to fill the firesteel loop on the production Bushfinger sheath. One turned into two. Two to a dozen, and before you know it I'm working with burl and trying to figure out micarta.

Here's some pictures to get you guys started and please don't hesitate to let loose with the critiques.

Thanks for looking and don't forget the coupon code "Fiddleback"

Nice and tight fire steels ,I've noticed that some companies fire steels are bulky at the handles. Do you have any black with orange in it ,I would mind getting one of those "Fiddleback "

Looks great
Glad you took the plunge. Your fire steel started the only official campfire for the fiddleback crew @TRackrock

First of all thanks to all my new customers and those who have offered advice, assistance and feedback. Packages are on the way.

I added some additional firesteels in Green Burl, Bocote, Orange Acrylic, African Blackwood and Cherry.

Happy sharking....

Cool, green buckeye is what the handle material on my Bushcrafter is :)

Got mine today with some extra goodies. Very nice craftsmanship, looks outstanding, and just an incredible deal. Thanks swonut!

Alright, I gotta know- what will the "gifts for manly men" category include? :)

Got the blue one yesterday. Very nice work Blaine!

Thanks! I posted some more that I've been working on the last couple of days. Also posted up a gift in the Manly Man section.
