  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Fire Tin

It looks like a decent little kit. Next time on your video try using a tripod...I just about got seasick watching your vid - and I'm used to sailing rough waters :D

Nice basic kit ... I would substitute a firesteel for the mag rod and add some fire starting tinder such as jute twine, fatwood or PJCB straws.

+1 on the firesteel, and PJCB... If you get the jute be sure to take a bunch and soak it in hot wax to make waterproof...

Fine looking kit otherwise... Keep up the good work bud:thumbup:..

Thanks Man

Also when ever I cut the grass I collect some of the cut grass and dry it in the garage and use that as tinder. Been looking around for some good firesteels might pick one up from dicks next week.

I just learned the term "tactical bushcraft."
Now I learn "gangsta bushcraft.":D

man you have not seen anything yet, I recently got a rat trap and plan on useing it very soon, also i just came back from DICKS SPORTING GOODS and got a BOB type bag (ill have a vid on it 2mrw). Btw im going to ues the term "Gangsta Bushcraft" if its alright with you

Thank you

Lowes, Home depot, or wally world should having it out soon enough... Dryer lint works great provided its natural fiber.. Had dug some out once that would even take a match light ... So you might wanna test a piece of it, just to make sure it's good to go...

HTH

Check where they have the firelogs and such, or like in Lowes check the woodstove section..
