Had some company by tonights fire. A little unnerving as they were closer than usual tonight but enjoyed listening to them. The woodpile I burned must have been close to a coyote den.

Cut up a lot of dead-fall in addition to the pile that was waiting for me. My hawk is a chopping machine!

Had to lay off a while after starting some new medications. Getting older sucks. It was hot tea for the night.

Awesome !! I love the crackling fire and the hoots in the background.

I have a large pack of 'yotes that live in the field behind my house - I can spotlight them in the evenings in the summer - I have seen at least 8 sets of eyes out there.
