Fire!

Ah, the first. Had ours last weekend. Grilled out tonight but no fire, will build a nice big fire tomorrow evening for some s'mores. Enjoy that fine drink Resinguy.

I still use a fero rod to start mine. Just can't help it.
 
Cool!!! I'm going to build one up tomorrow. Cant beat a good fire, good drink, good company and good knives.
 
Resingirl was out to burn some marshmallows, but Tapatalk locked up when I tried to load a pic.
 
I really want a good fire pit. I have only found the very thin stock ones that look like two fires would burn their way through them.
 
Ours was $100 on sale at Dicks Sporting Goods, maybe 4, 5 years ago. I put a layer of cat litter in the bottom to protect it from the hot coals.
 
Loving the fire but it's getting to hot down here to burn. We had a very warm winter and I think I only fired it up 3 times this winter.
 
Some large branches were chopped. Mostly I used various Bussekin to split log rounds.
 
Campfires are the best. I spent every night this weekend with friends and family around a nice campfire or bonfire. :thumbup:
 
Just cool enough now to think about a fire here. Today is officially (according to Andy) the coolest day so far this year. had to fish my leatehr jacket out of he back of my locker at work even...and the coffee van didn't show up (apparently his wife is giving birth, I am not sure that is good enough reason but I will discuss it with him) so all in all not a good start !!!!!!!!!!
