The coolest sequence of fire pics I've captured, or my wife captured rather.

Fire is awesome. Fire made with firesteel, even better. Fire made with firesteel to cook bacon whilst enjoying outdoor scenery pretty much reaches the apex of perfection.

Great pics! You are only missing a cigar... ;)

Bacon content added.

full disclosure: not my bacon, fire, or picture.

Gorgeous pics 91bravo! What camera was used? I miss my old 35mm SLR Minolta; took some great looking photos with it back in the day.

Thanks Lone Wolf! I believe at that time, my wife was using a LUMIX camera of some kind. She has a Canon D something now

My name is Derek, and I approve this thread!

Bacon! Fire! Intrigue! What's not to love?

Now try it with a knife. I have thrown many sparks with my bk14. ;) It is more difficult and a little less safe but totally doable. I have done it with quartz but flint or chert is a lot easier.

This knife has been used hard and sharpened a lot. All in love...

That last pic of yours with the fire and your wifes hair is super cool.
