I have 2 firearms that I plan on selling on the Trading Post. What is the best way to handle such a sale? What laws do I need to abide by? Do I ship it out through my FFL Dealer or can I ship it on my own to their FFL Dealer? Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated.

I agree with Elvis all the way on this one. I am an FFL dealer, and I urge locals to do this through me. I usually don't charge my customers to do this, but some dealers will. This will cover you if something should come up. Just talk to one of your locals, (I'm sure you already know him very well if I'm guessing right) and tell him what your doing. I'm sure he will treat you right.

Oh, and ya send 'em from your FFL Dealer to your Buyer's FFL dealer. Each guy usually charges a fee for logging the weapons, usually about $20 - 25

Dave, I am waiting to receive this post at my place.... forgive Remster.... NJ Firefighters are notorious for being somewhat lost.... plus, Rem's a former Marine.... he probably picked up the same diseases I left on a rack at Parris Island... so forgive him, as he ain't responsible.
