Fireman's festival Bowie.

I donate a knife to my local volunteer fire depart every year for there spring auction.
I am to decrepit to fight fires so this is my way of making a contribution.

The knife is a 15 1/2 inch Bowie with a polished damascus blade N/S and wrought iron guard, tiger strip maple handle with an elk antler ferrule.

The lanyard thingy is wrought iron.

Beautiful! That leaf shaped blade goes well with the unique looking handle. A good gesture on your part too, coming from a dispatcher for my local PD. As long as you're handling red hot steel and dealing with 1500+ degree forge fires, you might as well keep the firemen on your good side
