As of Thursday morning when I last spoke to someone at the Buck facility, no one at Buck had lost their home. Some, including Chuck Buck, had the fire stopped right at the edge of their property. Everyone has a sore throat from breathing the foul, ash laden air. Many of them know people who have lost homes, pets, etc. Keep all of the people of California in your prayers during this difficult time.
By the way, while Buck has continued to operate, I suspect that there will be a bit of a delay on shipments going into and out of the area. I have delayed sending some Buck Collectors Club items back to Joe in order to allow him to get back in the plant and to allow an expected backlog of packages headed into the San Diego area to get cleared.
