As far as I know Rob has no affiliation with Chris Reeve. He just uses and recomends the Reeve One Piece knives to his students. he is a survival instructor for BOSS and other schools, as well teaching privately. He is also a law enforcment and SAR tracker, a Shawnee who is very well versed in native Ammerican lore, and a heck of a goog guy. He has built and entire system based on the One Piece Range as i outline in my recent Blade article. He started making these firestarters to fir inside the hollow handles because he found that the ferricemtum rods corrode rapidly in contact with water.
