Firestick with KODI for TV

Has anyone tried a Firestick with the KODI App for TV shows and movies. If so how do you like it? If not do you know anything about it so you can explain how it works to me, it's over my head!!!

I've used chromecast, firestick with kodi and roku. I'd rate them chromecast, roku, firestick. Kodi is nice if you want to get "free" movies, which dont always work. Chromecast is what I've stuck with. I like roku second because of the UI and the useful remote. Amazon has a lot of work to do before it's competitive.
