hey guys, I've been looking for a new axe and saw this thing. Yes i would like to buy a BG LHA, but there so hard to get up here in the great north. So i'll be buying from a site i know and trust. So do any of you know of this axe?

I've heard of this company, but i dont know the over all quailty. the head being made of 440c makes me wonder of its potential. But I could see it working.
Any one own one or used one?
If so, did it work well?

And how well would it compare to a wetterlings of the same size. I am able to purchase a wetterling, so which would be the better choice?

thanks all

Doesn't look good to me. Plus I wouldn't consider 440C as an axe steel.
I'd say go for the wetterling, but you'd better have a look at handle grain before buying.

If you like the "viking" (commercial name?) design, you can also get a good one, but that's not the same price range: middle of page

I have a Firestone Belt Axe.

The sheath is wonderful and it's an OK chopper but I think a GB Wildlife is way ahead of it on performance.
