Heres a custom order, similar to one I made for another forumite some time back, but with a different blade shape. Just over 5inch blade, hand-forged 1095 - I liked the hump on the spine, so I left it in... hamon is hard to pick up in pics, but it got lots of interesting details in it. guard setup is all blued steel, a black Micarta collar (synthetics always find their way into my knives somehow...) and a tang-framed handle with exposed steel butt with Amboyna Burl handles. The sheath features a snakeskin inlay and is coloured to sort of match the knife.

What do you guys think ? Thanks in advance for feedback. Jason.

I agree, the hump gives the blade more character, as does the guard.

A+ on both knife and sheath! :D

fantastic design -- that hamon looks very intricate too!

i love the blade profile...it really compliments the shape of the guard. the handle material is really nice and goes well with the sheath. it has a nice "oneness" as a complete package.

very well done.

That has to be my favorite knife of yours. The blade shape and the guard are both amazing. I personally wouldn't want the skull-crusher pommell...but that's the only thing I'd change.

Jason, no surprise here: beautiful work! When are we going to trade some stuff?! :D
