So what do you all use to hold your first aid kits in your day packs and backpacks? Ive been using a zip lock back for a few years, but I've gotten tired of replacing them when they frequently rip. I want something thats waterproof I was thinking about maybe getting an otter box, or something similar to hold my first aid kit. What do you guys use/ recommend?

Sounds like you may like a water resistant poly bag with a zipper on it. They can be found at tadgear.com.

Go to your local home depot or the houseware/kitchenware section of the mall and look for the "Llock-'N-Lock" products. They look like Tupperware containers except they're transparent and with latches on all four sides.

Water-tight, inexpensive, fairly rugged and comes in different sizes. I've got two for my FAK and PSK.

Does anybody else have any suggestions? I like the Llock-'N-Lock boxes, but from what ive seen online, there arent any that are the right size, they are all a little too tall, or big.

65535 I couldnt seem to find the poly bags on the tad gear site. Do you have any more information? Are they strong? Will they stay closed?

Pelican and Otter have good strong waterproof boxes of various sizes.

Seal-line makes small dry bags. They don't have any organization, but you'd have this problem with boxes, too.

Rubber maid containers.

You can get them in all different sizes and shapes, are cheap, water proof, crush resistant, and translusent so you can see whats inside. I use them on all my outdoor gear. PKS's, FAK's, food, camera.

In your local grocery store.

What size are you looking for?

On our boat, I keep our first aid kit in one of those Plano waterproof StowAway boxes. The adjustable dividers keep things nice and organized.
