hello,

since an good time i wanted an spl sak for my personal first aid kit and since i emigrate soon, now was the time to work on that one.

its an 91mm victorinox, compact 2 layer, with this features:

- scissor
- pliers
- hook with file
- splitring on the opposite side of opened tools
- stayglow plus scales with tweezer, pin, pen and toothpick

first step by step pic are here, then click next, 11 pics.

starting with brand new victorinox parts, the splitring attatchment is on the opposide side as usually, inlay into the liner of the pliers, same thickness and secured. because of the diffrent outer radius, the splitring attatchment did fit 99% and its recessed an bit.

as i edc enough knives i wanted to have an sak for my first aid kit to cut bandages etc, pry out splinters with the toothpick or pliers and whrite down my last will if needed, the stayglow helps not loosing it, same for the splitring. its also not treatening as an "weapon"

its one of the vew bladeless sak and not finished yet, the pen needs more fitting and it will be engraved, get an stormdrane fob and later this year one of my new clips.

....but I would take one at a reasonable price. I like the idea of having a bladeless SAK and the only current model I know of is Wenger's AT and Clipper. Nice alternative. Great Work as always.

thanks, im testing it out now, verry good news from ibach today, there will be red alox lumberjack sak.

I like it. Maybe you could look into the idea of putting together a SAK with removeable main blade for restricted travel.

That sir, looks really great, wouldnt mind having one of them myself.
Great work, this is the mast sheeple friendly knife-like thing there is. ;)
BECAUSE its so specialized, its especially interesting.

I see carrying some kind of box by a string, and the other picture I couldn't quite understand. No disrespect, but I haven't found any real-world uses for the "multi-purpose" hook. An awl or screwdriver in its place would be more handy. Or sharpen the inside of the hook so it's a kind of safety blade. Might be useful in an emergency kit to safely cut away clothing or bandages.

its an personal matter, as i say, this is what i wanted for my own use. i edc so many cutters etc but theres no hook/nailfile but i find it quite useful.

it would be no problem to put in an corkscrew or philips.
