First and last Busse

I owned a Camp Tramp but sold it because I was on the fence about its grip/heft/qi. Bought a Ratweiler from the Swamp just to try it out -- great heft, but sold it because it just didn't sit right in my hand. Just received a HHFSH today from a purchase on EvilBay; and from grip one, I'm done. This thing is a beast, it's a part of my hand, and the search is over. Don't need a Battle Mistress or AK -- this thing is just about flawless.

Anyone else ever buy just one Busse and end it there?

You keep telling yourself that until you believe it.

I know I didn't stop at one, and have no intentions of stoping ever, I may slow a bit now and then but I won't stop.

it's sooo much better.

Yup that's exactly what I said when I purchased my first BME about 5 years ago! (LOL!)
 
I tried! But it's like having one chip. It just can't be done. At least not while keeping your sanity intact.

Congrats on the new INFI. It is a true beast indeed. Make sure to post pics of your next purchase. ;)

Yup they will. You've been bit by the INFI bug and just stepped onto the slippery slope into the trough. Abandon all hope AND money as ye enter. :D
 
Heavy Hearts are so good, you'll need one in each handle configuration.

I bought both thinking I would keep the one that fit my hand the best.

The mag handle version feels totally different than the standard knife to me.

Both will stay in my collection until they become a part of my son's collection.
 
Yes, yes. I thought I found the perfect knife when I traded for an ST56, now I have a few. Perfection comes rarely. Then you need more of it!

Congrats, the HHFSH is about as perfect as a knife can be.
No fancy tactical gimmicks that don't do any good. Just a perfect plain blade.

I started also with the say "one is enought" but chances come buy as you keep looking and you will buy another one sooner or later :eek:, trust me on this.

Yep! Just one.... I thought that too when I received mu Heavy Duty. Now I also have a Hell Razor, Game Warden and think intensively of an exuse/reason that I will tell my fiancee when the badger is out.

I said the exact same thing, all I need is a HHFSH and I'll quit. The selling/trading is addictive, but just keep in mind what you want. I have had in my possetion 2 HHFSH, 1 NO-E Clip point variant, 1 HD, 1 Basic 3, 1 SAR (SRKW), 1 Battle Rat, 1 Battle Guard, 1 Satin Jack, 1 Hell Razor, and my only current piece of INFI is a HOGFSH. I think that there is absolutely a perfect Busse out there for everyone, it's finding it that's all the fun. I still need an AK though, Urban grey/black linen SWEET!!!!!

My first Busse was a FSH (close enough to the same knife) with mag scales- I agree that it is like the archetype of a knife- simple, perfect, and awesome :thumbup: Then I thought, if this (rather large) knife feels this good, what about something a little more reasonably sized for normal jobs and carry? :rolleyes:

1 SJTAC, Mud Razor, Hell Razor, Mole Jack, Bad Warden (with a Buffalo Game Warden on the way) and a good assortment of Swamp Rats later, I'm still trying to decide if there really is just one Busse I could be happy with, and if so, which? Of course, before I can even start to make that decision, I need to round up an Active Duty, at least one of the streets, a Badger Attack.....

One thing I do know, is that for me, the FSH will always be the quintessential Busse.
