Here are my first knife pictures for you guys in a couple of months... Its been a weird time. (See below)
This is an "Eastern Firestorm" I made for another knifemaker. It's been about 1 year in the making and thankfully, the customer in question seems to be a patient type !!!
Forged 1095, complex hamon, brass collar, blackened mild steel sculpted guard & spacer, oak handle, black rayskin underlay, epoxy coated wrap, menuki of a pewter dragonfly sitting on gold leaves. The whole knife can be taken apart by tapping out the turned 416SS handle pin.
I should be getting it in the mail shortly. Hope you all like it. Thanks for looking. Jason.
Note :- I am no longer taking custom orders. My wife & I are expecting our first child this year & priorities have changed. I am also having ongoing problems affecting my joints & I have been advised by professionals to change my activities to prevent permanent disability. As a result I will not be able to forge or do much hand finishing procedures for at least 6-8months. I will continue to make knives on a lesser scale & hope to focus more on stock-removed knives for awhile.
