The red handled guy in front is a purchased blade I'm sure we've all seen available. I really like the design and it made a good test piece.

Top right is the first one I did once I got my 1080 in.It's been shown already as well. Lots of little goofs and gaffs, but the HT went very well and the overall profile is what I wanted. She's razor sharp but absolutely no point or front edge to her. If you keep the lower part of the blade away from the person's skin you can wedge it under a seat belt or piece of clothing that needs cut away with no chance of cutting the person. I'll be doing more of that design, without the uneven edge and grinds. I might even shine up the later ones. My friend was teasing me about my first knife being only half a knife, since it couldn't stab it's way out of a wet paper bag.

The guy on the left is my second try and the reason for the pic/post. Actually very similar to the sheep's foot, but made lean and pointy. The only real flaw on this one is an uneven grind. I really need to slow down and be more careful as I work to keep it even. By the time I realized how far off I'd gotten it was too far to fix without major profile changes and I decided I'd rather have the design as it is than fix the grinds to be symmetrical. The pin is just stainless rod, the handle material is 1/8" black micarta left mostly flat. I liked the flat angular look better on this one and it's thin enough that just rounding over the edges felt comfortable in my hand. The picture doesn't show it well, but the micarta is buffed to a nice finish and is perfectly smooth. This shows off the wave pattern in the edges of the micarta very nicely. I'm very pleased with how this one came out other than the uneven bevels on the blade. Oh, and yes, it does look almost like a folder, it's intentional.
