I just got my Point Success jacket in the Dark Lava in the XL and it fits like a glove and I just walked around our outdoor mall for some time in a nice cold windy day and it was great so anyone looking for great cooler weather gear I am certainly impressed with the First Ascent jacket that I own.

Looked at their stuff for the first time last week after seeing an ad in a friend's Outside magazine. I'd never heard of First Ascent before. Looks like nice gear. It's an Eddie Bauer brand, and I've been happy with everything I've ever bought from them, whether it was a belt, sweatshirt, or slacks. Got one of their "WeatherEdge 365" midweight shells yesterday.
The First Ascent line was designed by pro climbers and so far the design of the jacket has come through and it has been very cold here (by Texas standards) and we are expecting a light freeze or a snow to come through tomorrow so I am looking forward to seeing how it does tomorrow if we do get the crappy weather. And my Dad also has the Cloud Layer 1/4 zip and he really likes it so take a look at the clothing line anyone who is reading this.
