First attempt at Spring Spear Trap !

Thought I'd have a bash at a small spring spear trap today~

I wasn't over impressed with this trap and found the trigger system tricky to set up. Does anyone have any other versions that might work better ?

Hi all,

Pitdog, great job on the trap. As with all traps it seems to be the more you work with it the better you find out if it really is a keeper or not. I have never done a spring trap like that one.
