First attempt at using Buffalo

Looks good. So what would you do different?
I did a little more work on the sheath which I think blends the overall look.
What I would do different-
1. I would use Wellwood glue, I typically use the sparge cement from tandy leather.
2. I wouldn't have a sharp tip on the buffalo hide - unless the better glue would keep the 'tips' in place
3. I would stitch closer to the edge of the sheath - I had to go back and stitch the tips.
4. I might would use a 4-6 oz panel over the buffalo hide to give it a window effect - that way no tips to worry about.
5. I do like the way the buffalo hide looks and feels, but next time I might would use the other leather rough side out.
6. Constructive advise is always welcome!

Yeah points are tough. I'll usually trim them so they are not so pointy. With any leather not just the water buff. Even with leathers that are easy to glue, points can wrinkle and abrade and curl up. Very nice work by the way, balanced.
