Quite a few folks ask me about makers to watch. Matt is one of them (as a matter of fact if your still watching I think you are getting passed up).

That grind, fit to guard and Matt's attention to handles are about as good as it gets and getting better on every knife I see.

Congratulations Matt, just about every new knife of yours I see, hits a higher level. Keep up the great work!

the blade length is 7.2" of 1/4" D2. Trim is stainless steel, it is mortised tang construction meaning that the tang runs internally to within 1/4" of the butt of the knife. Handle material is black linen micarta, finish is 400 grit hand rub.

I need to thank Neil for doing the heat treating to my exact specs (rc58-59).

I heat treat my own oil hardening steels and
Im hoping to get a Paragon 24" and cryo set up soon so i will be able to do all of my air hardening steels as well.

Any how, i may try and post another just to see if it was me or Gus's helping hand (thank Gus

Man, not another one! First the Camp Bowie, then the Sunrise Fighter, then the Natchez Trace and now this. Nice blade and I love that guard. Matt, repeat after me, I will not make a subhilt, I will not make a subhilt

Matt,

Can't say much to improve on what the
picture says. Awesome!!!
Matt is truly one of the up and comers.
He also happens to be a great guy to deal with.
Expect a call.

Matt,

Check your email. I just sent you the easy way (as per James Mattis) to post Photopoint pics on BFC....

Matt,

You continue to outdo yourself with every new blade. This one is just beautiful! The recurved blade just pushs all my my buttons.

Outstanding

Matt - that really is a nice recurve. Very sexy blade! I like the forward canted guard too.

Check your e-mail regarding a little project I have planned
