first attempt

Well I had one of those bags of scraps from hobby lobby and some time so I decided to make a horizontal sheath for my cs roach belly. After a lot of reading on the forums I took a crack at it. Not exactly perfect but wears comfortably.

And just for fun here's a sheath I made a while back from some scrap leather and paracord for a sure strike star. Now that I've sewn some leather I'm thinking of making a nicer one because I like having a sheath for it.

Very nice. Much better than my first attempts with the hobby scrap. I'm sold on that scrap bag for stuff like welts & such.

Thanks for the compliment. Yeah for welts you can't beat it but now I want to get some good leather to use and need to start gathering proper tools for the job. This was me using what I have and improvising some which I suspect is no way to make truly nice things.
