not on par with the beautiful work i routinely see here but they are functional none the less! Pouch style, Recycled leather from a beloved pair of 20+ year old engineer boots that my black lab saw fit to render unusable a few years ago! i think they call it Upcycling
Actually did these last winter, both have welts and are meant to be worn higher on the hip, retention in both is pretty good, better in my sons sheath (buckled one). I realize that the boot leather isnt ideal because of the dyes, etc. but neither knife is stored in the sheath, mine sees a fair amount of use during the warmer months. So far they have held up great and havent lost the spike!
Anyway they are gnarly, some screw ups in stitch alignment, etc. but for a first attempt think i did all right, and seem to be holding up well.
