First Becker and can't wait!

Finally. After being a member for quite some time I decided to pull the trigger on a Becker. I was initially leaning towards an Esee 3, but something about the look, shape and size of the 17 caught my attention and I soon began lusting after it. I have to say I haven't been this excited in a while. Even though I may not be able to use it as much as I would like, I think it work its way in nicely. I'm already planning on getting a kydex and possibly stripping it.
 
The 17 is a great knife...Congrats!
Handles well,pointy tip for fine work & tough.
 
Welcome to the addiction - I started with a 17 too after debating against an esee 4 (also a great knife) and let's put it this way, that was about 3 years ago and I'm now up to 11 beckers lol
 
I'm really thinking the 17 is going to be one of my next mid range knives.... But I want a 4/5/9 first
 
Much Gratz on the 17! You'll absolutely love it. The 17 was my 1st 'tweener and is a very useful blade. Oh, and welcome to the sickness :D
 
Hope you can wait until the first ones arrives before the 2nd, many of us have a problem here:) Nice score you will not be disappointed
 
Just got my first becker as well. Its the Doug Ritter RSK MK2. Seriously sweet. I accidentally slashed my arm with it, at least I know its sharp now.
 
Congrats man. I love the looks of the 17. It was the inspiration for my clipped 2.
