Just felt like posting what I'm working with. Plans for micarta on the 2. And in the process of producing a mirror shine on my 16. Got sick of looking at my serious patina I have.

Nice looking family picture!

Interesting choice on the "black & tan" scales on the 15.

I'm digging the patina on your 16. You might want to reconsider that mirror shine. Not only it's a lot of work, it also means that if you want to keep it shiny, you just cant use the knife. I'd say keep that patina!

That's a good start, but you need to get a BK9. You can't not have a 9.

I want a knife that large by honestly I would rather use the RBK because it seems to fit my area better. Maybe if I lived up north again I'd buy it but I'm in a tropical climate so RBK is my choice.

I just wanted to generally clean it up, then develop a new patina. My 15 garnished one in a month just from food prep alone. Slicing fruits can really bring out good development with all that acidity.

Not having a 9 is something that just should not ever be done. So stop doing it. End your 9lessness at once! Assimilate!

I really do enjoy the idea of having s 9 for wood processing but I can't see myself using it instead of a wetterlings or Gransfor bruks
