Hello all. I dig your forum. Couple months ago I decided I wanted another fixed blade to carry and use. After research, including reviews on this site I decided on a BK 16. Been hooked on this forum ever since, already learned a lot. Ive already got plans for mods to my brand new knife. It finally came in today and I almost started carving on the kitchen chair..

Welcome. Probably wouldn't have been the first kitchen chair carved on around these parts.

Oh, if you do decide to work on the chair a bit, be sure and post photos.

Workin on the photos now, took some cool ones for the first post and immediately forgot them.

Getting the 16 first is proof that you researched correctly. Congrats! And welcome!

Here's an emoji with an afro.

Thanks. Got a big Kabar, but I wanted a smaller one to carry that doesnt stick out both sides in a scout carry. Haven't even used it yet and I love it.

Welcome aboard and Grats on the 16! Words of wisdom......stay away from the one named after a large steed. He will lead u down a dark, horrid path :p

Great 1 pick . Warning ! Becker blades are addictive .

Nice choice
My favorite Becker
oh ya, Welcome. You'll like these guys, they'll keep you on track for your next order. ;)

Welcome aboard. You picked a fine blade for the first one. Don't mess up your kitchen chairs. Go to Cracker Barrel, relax and have a cup of coffee & piece of pie and carve theirs up. Tell them I said it was okay.

Welcome. For a second, I read that as you carved a kitchen chair from scratch with a BK16. That would be an impressive feat. What mods are you thinking of?

Gonna strip the paint, and stipple the grips, stainless hardware. My brother does leather work so I'm gonna get him to do a sheath for me. Haven't decided if I'm gonna electro-etch it or not yet. I actually hadn't even heard of it until I was reading up in this forum.

Hey Skelter......

Welcome, welcome, welcome....... It is not a well kept secret that I favor the Sixteen for everyday belt carry , soooooo I think you made a very good choice.......

Thank you for buying a Becker blade and I hope your Sweet Sxteen works her tail off for you...... I am looking forward to pics....
