hey all, i know it has been posted here before but i just got my first Becker knife!! got myself the bk11! this knife is awesome! very happy with my purchase! it seems like a solid knife! almost shaving sharp straight out of the box. took thirty seconds of honing and its now perfect! bought the micarta scales for the handle as well (glad i did, they make a huge difference in feel and look of the knife!). i wasnt too sure about this knife before i bought it because of the mixed reviews regarding handle size and shape, but to be honest i really liked the bottle opener option. anyway, with the micarta scales i really like the feel of the becker necker! just had to share as i am really excited with this knife. going camping on the weekend and am planning to put it to the test! i hope to get the bk7 next i think.
 
A fine choice. Congrats on a fine blade.
My first Becker and still my favorite!
I had a hard time buying the micarta being as that it's the same price as the knife.
I'm glad I did though. It made a good knife even better.
