Bought meself a Becker Necker for my birthday. Should arrive this week. I was torn between that and a Magnum Camp, but figgered the smaller blade would be more practical. I'm sure I'll wind up with more anyway.

Awesome, your gonna love it. May I recommend a BK2 next? Moose

Rat, happy birthday man.. I don't think the magnum would've made a great necker:D

congrats, I have one Becker myself, great knives, excellent bargains.. fit, form, finish and function.. these things rock.. !!

Either that or the Magnum Camp. Leaning toward the MC, cause I generally like thinner blades. The 9 looks pretty cool too though.

The 9 is pretty sweet, hell, they all are. Oh, and I didn't tell you, but I got my Tarp hat on Monday, and its bada$$. I have worn it every minute since I got it, and the ol' lady likes it, scored twice, only had it two days. Chicks dig the Tarp.

Sorry for the drift there. Thinner? Then may I suggest the 7. Its the "little black dress" of the Becker line. Goes anywhere, does anything. I like my all my Beckers, and there is one thing that can be said for all of them, OVERKILL. The MC, 9, 7 are the same thickness, with blade length and design being the only difference. The BK3 and BK2 are a full 1/4" with blade design difference. The reason I suggest the BK2, is that, once you hold it, you will see why its called the Campanion. It is my goto knife, no doubt. From Fuzzy's to HARDCORE BATONNING, it will get it done. And the balance is superb. Maybe there is a way I can put one in your hands before your next buy. If you was coming to my Gathering here in the hills, you could use mine all weekend, I gots others to play with. Holler back. Moose
