Well been a spyderco guy for a while and have never owned a benchmade.............then the contego happened!

M4 and loads of it, the blade shape drew me in even more, so found one on the exchange and it's now in my hands........and I love it!

I feel I have to post a pic lol

I love Benchmade, but I have yet to own a Contego. I fear it's a little too big for me. I think they're about the same size as the ZT0560 and that was certainly overkill for my intended uses. I ended up selling it. My 940 is they perfect size for a EDC knife.

Osbourne designs FTW!!!

Nice buy!

I owned the Contego for awhile, didn't quite do it for me but after a long period of trying different Benchmades (Osborne, Emissary, Rift, Contego, Osborne again, G10 Griptilian, 51 Balisong), I finally found the 556BLK (which is in my EDC rotation to this day)

Enjoy the knife!

I agree it's a big knife, but that's what I usually carry out of work

But I've been cutting all day and do like the m4

Congrats on your first Benchmade! My buddy bought a Contego and carries it whenever he can. It's a terrific folder; if they made a smaller one, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. And I can definitely agree with Moxy: Osborne designs rock!

Thanks for the comparo pic! Yeah it's probably too big for me haha.
Here's my Osbourn collection.

Love my Contego, it's my third hand at work. I also have the Rift and consider it the gentlemanly little brother. I got the Rift first and liked the functionality of the blade shape, so then I looked into the Contego. The M4 steel was the clincher.
