Im a Spyderco guy. But the one Benchmade I have always wanted but just couldnt really get past the handle material was the Barrage. Well I saw this baby advertised on the web and figured I had to have it, at some point. Went by my local dealer and saw it at 10% cheaper than anywhere online! Needless to say...

I absolutely love it. I can see more BM's in my future.

That's cool. Congrats... I always thought the Barrage looked uncomfortable until I held one. It was a standard model so the scales are different then yours,
but it was very comfortable. I'm also not a fan of assisted knives, but for some strange reason I really like it on the Barrage. It just feels right

Congrats on a great looking Barrage! I'm the same, the limited 580-1102 I own looked chunky on paper but I love it.

Thanks guys. I also usually don't dig assisted opening blades but it does indeed fit this one, shoots out as fast as a blur. I actually think the design would make a good auto. And it feels awesome in hand, fills the palm fully without feeling chunky. The g-10 scales are icing on the cake.
