Finally bought my first Benchmade, and it is an auto. I think it was a great buy. Don't have an experience with Benchmade's 440...is it any good?

Nice catch. Benchmade does a good job with the 440C, it sharpens up easily enough and holds a good edge. The model I've been eyeing is the Benchmade AFO II and even the H&K Entourage.

Ok, great to hear. Too bad I cannot EDC it.
 
I have been really happy with the BM knives I have. Some of my favorites. Wish we could all EDC autos. Not a chance where I live though.
