I made this awhile back, but didn't have time to snap any photos off. It's my first big knife I've made, so don't be too harsh on me. :) I'ts 3/16 1095, and you can't see, but I've even got "Burchtree" on it.

Thanks for looking.

Thanks. A little under 10 inches. Notice the "fancy" rivets in the the sheath? :D

Looks good! I really like the profile of your knife, nice and sleek! I just started my first bowie, out of 3/16 1095 too. However I got a little (too) ambitious and decided to make a hidden tang. Now I'm tracking down old leather work belts so I'll have enough leather washers for the handle.

Thanks Burchtree!!!!

I just don't know how you guys control that long ass steel on the grinder. I'm glad I like little hunters and such.

My hat is off. Jolly good work!

She looks great, I realy like the profile, and what is the handle material? And is that a temper line I see? Very nice.

No temper line. :grumpy: The handle is plain 'ol oak, and the pins are nails. As you can tell, I spared no expenses on this puppy! :D Of course, I don't know what has happening with that one "pin." It was a non-drill press afterthought and it shows.
