This is what I've done so far, I plan on sanding the blade a bit more. I can totally see how this can become an addiction of mine. Thanks to everyone here for all the helpful tips and pics. I love how I only spent about $10 to do all this. The liners are from a cd case and I stole the idea from someone here in the forum, sorry I can't remember who. Let me know what you all think.

Thanks man, I'm trying to post a couple more pics but for some reason its only letting me do one per comment?

What do u use to post pics?

Photobucket works good. Its easy to upload pics to their site. Then you just hover your mouse over the pic and it will give you the option to copy the image link. Then just paste it in your post.

Don't sell yourself short, Joe, those pics are fine.

Good lookin' blade you got there, BTW.

Looks good, How long did you have to leave that spray on stripper on and how much do you polish the blade or is that satin look unsanded?

I left the stripper on for only about 10-15 min, long enough that I could see the coating really coming off pretty good. After I stripped it the whole thing was a flat gun metal grey and I didn't like it too much. So I started with 220 grit and worked my way up to 1000. I didn't want a real shine to it so that's where I stopped. The flat part on top just came out that way and I'm very pleased with it.

Time to Patina that badboy. Get urself some mangos, mustard and vinegar and go to town! Or Clich it. But Cliching is so Clichee.

The pics look great, Joe. That 7 looks almost too pretty to use.

Has anybody Cliched a 7 yet? I can't remember ever seeing one.

Being that I'm fairly new here could someone feel me in on what Cliching is please. And thanks for all the kind words.

Thanks wadatchdan, I just checked that out and man that is some cool stuff. I just might have to do that.
