First blade captured by Coop

Congratulations- beautiful knife! I like the blade shape and proportions and that curly maple is really sweet. Nothing like Coop's work to show it off, too!

Thanks for posting

I was just about to ask for a larger pic, but Kevin has already come through. Very nice work Dave.

I was also finding the small picture difficult to appreciate the knife, but it looks excellent in the larger one. Thanks Kevin.

That is a fine looking blade and an exceptional piece of curly maple. It has some of the characteristics of ironwood.

Pleasure seeing it.

Thanks, Kevin. THAT'S more like it.

David's the star here, folks (Or, specifically, his knife is).

This knife is a handful and made well. That's apparent.

Thanks for the mention. :) (although mentioning my name in a subject line, and showing resized photos is completely taboo to me.) ;)

David is going to do well.

A great photograph shows a knife in its best light. The knife may be the star, but the star needs to looks its best, and that's where you come in, Coop.

Very Nicely Done, Dave! Great move, sending it to Coop!

Coop has already let you know about the resize, I'm sure :D

Thanks for positive response.

Sorry about the sizing issue. I will try to do better next time.

I purchased the stain on the maple from Uncle Al and then applied tung oil.

Thanks again for the kind comments.
