Here is a blade I was honored to make..as a knifemaker to have a soldier want one of your knives is to me anyway the greatest of honors..here she is:

01 tool steel 3/16 stock
flat ground convex edge
hand rubbed finish 600 grit
canvas micarta handles and stainless fittings
right around 11 inches overall length..
Hand stitched and tooled 9 oz leather sheath

Thanks for looking..later Luke

That's a great looking knife, very useful looking.

BTW, I checked out your website and really like your blade designs. Do you ever sell your work here on BF's Makers FS area?

That's one great looking knife design, both handle and blade with one well made sheath, awesome :)

Excellent Knife Luke, It will serve its owner well!

I am making one right know that is going to Iraq, It's more than just a good feeling. If I can do one thing to make a soldiers day a little easier, better, whatever, then it was time well spent.

Regards,
John

i've held a lot of swenson knives - they are awesome knives which you really can't understand until you hold one.

brother swede's work could be half of what it is and it'd still be worth twice what he charges in my opinion.

I concur Vec! I own Luke's first rendition of this knife and as I've said before elsewhere... I LOVE THIS KNIFE!

If you gentlemen here ever have an inkling to commision a custom "working" knife, I suggest working with Luke Swenson. He'll deliver everything he promises... and then some. His blade's not only look great, they perform so as well.
