I recently purchased my first knife grinder, a 2hp variable-speed KMG and I'm loving it! I'm still getting the hang of everything, but I thought I'd share the blades I've made with it. Grinding sure beats files and sandpaper! The steel on all of these is CPM M4 heat treated by Paul Bos to 64Rc.

A 7.5" chef in stabilized amboyna. Cutting with this knife is a joy.

Thanks for looking.

thats allot of M4 isnt it kinda hard to work with?

I'm trying to hand-sand the rest of the chef knives. I've been crying myself to sleep at night. :D

I figure that starting on this stuff will make any other alloy downright fun. Right? The knives sure do cut nicely, though.

All great, but the little blonde thuya Wharnie is knockin' me out! A letter opener for kings and presidents.

Looks like it didn't take you too long to get the hang of it.....:)

I like 'em all but that scalpel is awesome, IMHO.

very nice blades with great lines... your aesthetics are really nice.. good work !!:thumbup:
