I just finished my first ever folder with bolsters. I used Ti for the bolsters to go with the Ti liners. The scales are ebony and the blade is CPM S35VN. The blade length is 2 15/16" and opened is 7". Now, I just need to put on a pocket clip. Do you think it needs a pocket clip? Tip up or down? Thanks for looking.

Ray that looks so classy and solid.
The bolster gives the knife a whole different look and feel. You really are moving your knife making up another rung.......Excellent!:)

beautiful- I'd pair it with a leather holster myself... but if you must with a clip, tip up is my pref.

That is gorgeous! I'd buy it in a heartbeat if it was up for sale. As for the clip, I personally prefer tip up...

I think it looks perfect just as it is. With a pocket clip it would loose some of it's 'slimness' and the grip would be less comfortable. A removable p.c. with screws that would be flush with the handle when p.c. removed would give the owner both options. Likely this is how you are thinking of doing it.

Beautiful work Ray.If I was buying it,I'd want a RH tip up clip, but I can see where a leather pouch would look good also.

Great work Ray,
That will look good with a pouch - you just take it higher and higher with that level of clean cool.

Cheers,
Guy

Thanks guys! This was a custom order. I decided it would go better with a tip up pocket clip. Here it is added on. I'm pretty happy with it. Here's also a short video.

That is really nice. Definitly my favourite of what I've seen of your stuff. I think it would look good with fully ti scales too.

For your first bolster you look like you have been doing it for ever!! Good looking knife bro!!

Very nicely done sir, bravo! If it were for me the only things I would change are to make a low rider clip, tip down and small round stand-off style back spacers. How far up does the back spacer go on this one? Can't really see in these pics. Also I would make a dark clip so it doesn't detract from the nice dark wood as much.

Again, you are very talented and this is a superb example of your work. These are the things I would change if it were for me! I would love to see one of your knives with anodized Ti liners, just on the inside, not the edges.
