Rencently completed this one for a fellow artist in Montana. The blade is 11 1/2 inches of random damascus with heavy forge texture,OALof 17 1/2",scales are mammoth ivory, and the shell guard and fileworked handle frame are heat colored wrought iron form an old train car.The sheath has something that is a first for me.The fellow that I made this for is a jewelry artist that cuts and polishes his own stones, and he sent this beautiful cab of Biggs Jasper that I bezel set in copper and mounted on the sheath. The colors and patterns in the stone match those of the ivory perfectly! The fantastic photo is by Chuck Ward.

In case your wondering,I traded this knife for this fantastic multi stone and and silver bracelet that also include a few pieces of mammoth and walrus ivory,as well as a 10 carat emerald and a six carat ruby that I sent for inclusion in this piece!

One of the nicest bowies you have posted John. The bracelet has some VERY fine bezel setting and stone work.

Very nice John It all works together so well I really like how the guard picks up the lines in the handle very cool

Very nice Bowie/Sheath package, great looking ivory.
I would have not known from the photo that the Jasper on the sheath wasn't ivory, it's so close in appearance.:thumbup::thumbup:

Great Bowie and sheath. I love Jasper and Jewelry and look forward to seeing you wearing this new piece at a future show (dare ya!) Knives and jewelry -- does not get much better.

John, a fantastic Bowie and of course. the sheath too!

Mr. White beat me to the punch on the fine bracelet! Must be Birthday/anniversary time! Good move Bro!

Thanks guys!Murray, you can bet you will see me wearing this bracelet at a show in the future, plus probably some jewelry of my own making.Kevin, I could'nt have matched the stone to the ivory more perfectly if I had hand picked it myself!Steve, the bracelet is all mine, too flashy for my wife's taste, plus she does'nt wear jewelry!
