The Koa's beautiful. The only choice I was unsure of was the finger grooves, turns out I like em. I wish the price was a little less, with an option to purchase the sheath. Took two photos of the same side from different angles in an attempt to show how the koa changes. I could nitpick a few things but overall I'm satisfied with my custom shop 110:thumbup:

...Hmmmmm...I was kinda ho-hum about the pics Goose posted of his Koa, but the lightplay really shows up in your pics... ;)

And I like the Custom Shoppe's fingergrooves; they extend into the bolsters, unlike the production FG's... :grumpy:

I may have to get me a KOA/NS/BG-42/FG/no-pins... :D

...I agree with you Trax...I wonder if the Custom Shoppe and the production area have two (2) different tools or templates that they use for the finger-grooves. It seems the radius is a bit smaller on the production grooves versus the custom grooves that I have...by "production", I mean the knives put out like the Fundraiser knives that are not made by the custom shoppe. My regular production 110's all have the grooves that appear larger just like the true "customs" I have...That 110 is a beauty chickenfried...

Nice shots, chickenfried, thanks for sharing. Yes, the Koa Flamewood seems to change it's character as you view it from different angles. It appears as if you have a nice match to the scales. I hope you enjoy your Koa as much as I do mine.

What a beautiful knife!

I have been considering those same options for my next Custom 110 and you may have just pushed me off the fence.

Thanks,
Allen

Dang it, why did I stumble across this website and the beauties of the Buck 110. I've got a feeling that it's a matter of time before I part with more funds.
It's all too easy to play with the custom knife design page but oh so hard to keep from hitting the "build it" button.

Just do it, Tracker! You know that you want to. :D

I am trying to break the habit of hitting that 'Build It' button before my previous custom arrives.:)
