Greeting,

Im new to busse knives, still trying to learn all the acronyms..anyway.. I would like to try out INFI steel and this forum has me jonezin for a busse blade..

I would like to find something with 3-4.5in blade length that I can wear IWB. I like the looks of the "pork shank" but it seems a little excessive for my needs. How often does busse do runs of the "game warden" I think thats what it's called.

Any suggestions would be great, thanks guys

BAD (Boney Active Duty), full flat grind thin stock and higher rockwell make it a great cutter. Everyone should have one.

Thanks for the info KnifeAddict, the Leaner Meaner Street looks very capable.. not sure if the pommel would dig into my side, it looks kind of aggressive but in a good way.

Best Busse EDC

Gladius... but only if you're a REAL man

Hey man, I would definitely go with a Magnum Bear Cub. Its thinner, harder INFI which is better in a smaller knife IMHO...and they are still relatively cheap. Whatever you decide to go with, you can't go wrong.

For an edc you can find, I'd probably go w a game warden. It's under 3" in blade length though. I have edc'd a boss street a sar3 and an active duty and hands down the sar 3 wins. Middle of the road as far as stock thickness, nice and pointy and a great slicer. They come up on the exchange now and again but they go fast. Good luck!

Huge fan of the Game Warden here! Their relatively smooth scales make IWB quite comfy. I snagged on off the exchange recently for a great price, they are out there but you must be FAST. :)

Active Duty. The best ergos of any Busse suited to EDC. My personal favorites are the Military Overrun and the Heavy Duty, but the BAD is sweet too.

I would love a meaner street if i could afford one, probably would be my edc....right now my edc is a SY511....which i love.

If you ae looking for something afordable and easy to find (for now anyway) , I would second the Magnum Bear Cub . 3" blade , 6 5/8" over all , it's not too big , not to "tactical" looking to scare the sheeple . it quickly became my EDC once I got mine .

HOLD MY BEER AND WATCH THIS !

Go for a Basic 4 .!!!!

Best darn knife for the money for sure! I cant believe that more have not embraced this little baby. Big enough to tackle larger jobs - but small enough to carry - hiking, hunting or around the neighborhood!

The styling reminds me of the early Badgers - handy and yet beefy! And a heck of a lot cheaper than others - I especially like the double cut and black one I just got in from one heck of a Hog! Came with "Blade Show" bag and all!! Almost like being there :)
