First Busse is a no-go

Well, I just got an email from Amy telling me that I scored a tan cultie in the EasterEgganza, and that I should call in and arrange my payment. This was going to be my first Busse!

Yay, right? Sadly, no. I was forced to call Amy and tell her that she could pass on the offer to someone else. I had to take my wife to the hospital last night for a nagging sinus infection that has been causing migraines, vomiting, etc. We have insurance, but I know that my deductible hasn't been met, so that means a big old bill is inbound. Dangit all anyway.

On a lighter note, Amy was great to deal with on the phone, and any company that has employees like that gets an A+ in my book. It'll be a while before I can get a Busse, I think, but mark my words, it'll happen some day.

Thanks for your understanding, Amy! You're the best!

You'll get yours someday. Hope your wife is feeling better. Glad to see someone around here has his priorities straight. Many of us can learn from this example.

Thanks for that, Mike. My wife is still in pretty rough shape, and will probably miss most of the week of work, which certainly exacerbates the situation financially a bit, but she needs the rest. This infection has been kicking her butt for about three weeks now, but the prescriptions she got are supposed to knock it out pretty quickly. This is my first time having a sick wife at home (we got married last July), and it sure does make me nervous. I'm trying to help her as much as I can, but I'm sure she can only take so much of my cooking ;)

Man, I can sympathise. My wife is having surgery on her sinuses in two weeks. It really sucks when someone you dearly love feels like crap.

Hang in there bro and stand by her side.

Thanks,
Brett

My wife is having surgery on her sinuses in two weeks.

I had the surgery a few years back and I can tell you that it SUCKS! Most painful thing I've ever elected to have done to myself and recovery took longer than expected. Also, it seemed to take a couple of years before the full effect of the surgery took hold. Plan on being there for her for several days as she recovers.

All that said, it's nice not to fight sinus and ear infections every month. Nice not to need antibiotics so often. It did help me, even if it was an awful experience.

Parke, good luck with your wife and your quest! I'm in the same boat-- still waiting to pull the trigger on a Busse. It'll happen some day. Just got to quit buying customs first.

Hope your wifey feels better soon! Oh, and don't worry, you'll get your INFI soon enough!

Parke---Take care of the wife. Then take care of the knife. There will always be a Busse knife waiting for you.

You are a good man. I probably would have bought the wife some Dristan and bought the knife. Might be why I'm divorced.

Parke,

Sorry to hear about your wife being sick. I have had the same problem lately with my wife. I hope everything turns out good.

Rest assured that we will continue making knives and when things clear up you will be able to get one.

Prayers sent,

Garth

Thank you all for your kind words.

They mean so much to the both of us!

Parke--Smoke up for your wife and yourself...don't take it too hard! We all miss ganzaas for one reason or another, and often things still work out for the best!
