Hello All,

I was deployed recently and spent about 3 weeks browsing just about every thread on this forum during my free time. I took the plunge and got myself a ASHBM for myself and my brother a TGLB (with Skystorm Sheath) for our birthday about a month ago.

What blades! My brother loves loves loves his knife and sheath, he spent most of our 4 day camping trip hacking limbs for wood and says it is the best present he ever got. The BM is just a beast. I got a small cut taking it in and out of the sheath, nice clean cut (will avoid taking out of its cardboard sheath until the Skystorm comes for it.

First use of the BM, to take the head off a critter my brother got in the evening.

Also got a chance to test my new 10/22, found this guy in the outhouse as soon as we arrived.

Did not get to test the BM to full planned capacity due to shelf/deck building but am greatly looking forward to putting this blade through its paces. (Would certainly rate it as THE STANDARD for big blades from any I have used)

Cheers to the Busse Clan!

Glad you are enjoying those two. Your collection will most likely grow. I had zero Bussekin's last July. Now? Hmmm...perhaps 13 or 15? Cheers.

Congratulations to you and your brother!!!

Picked a fine way to start with an ASHBM and a TGLB!!!

Tuica is right, watch them Busse, they multiply!!!!

OINK! :pig: :D

I wonder how long it will be after those models are discontinued that we realize what a golden age this was. ASHBM's and TGLB's available for order from the factory. Good times.

Congrats on two great scores.

Congrats to both of you :D Welcome to the gang.

Congrats on two great scores.

My thoughts exactly.

INFI and guns and the woods, oh my! It's great to see BUSSE-KIN knives in use, just as they were designed to be...CONGRATS!

Welcome to the madness that is Busse! The TGLB and the ASHBM are great knives and a fantastic way to kick off your collection. Congrats!
