First Busse on its way!

Well like the title says, Ive got my first Busse on its way to me now. I traded someone on another forum for a NIB Game Warden. He had it listed as gray blade with green micarta, but I think he might be referring to the sage blade.

Im not too sure as to what I should expect. It will be my first piece of INFI. Ive seen that there are several different variations of the Gamer Warden, so Im not real sure on which one im getting. Im hoping its one of the thicker ones, but who knows.

Ive owned a Scrapyard before, and currently have a SR Rodent Solution, but thats as far as my Bussekin knowledge extends.

What should I be expecting from this knife? It doesnt have a sheath, so that will be my first priority after getting it.

Anyways, looking forward to joining the family

Welcome to the addiction! You thinking leather or kydex for the sheath?
 
Congrats, a GW was my first Busse also...... I think I just heard a Boss Jack call your name :thumbup:

No doubt you be please either way. The thinner ones make great slicers and EDC knives and the thicker ones will shock you with the amount of abuse such a small knife can take. Enjoy

im hoping its a thick one. guess ill find out friday. According to a little chart i found on the GWs, it should be at least .190" thick. Id love for it to be the .20" but we'll see. Its definitely gonna get some use this weekend either way.
 
Wardens are AWESOME!!!
I had a .270 Fatty and I regret letting it go!!!
I'll have another eventually!!!
I do have a Skelly Warden on the way.
 
Congrats Bro!!! The GW is one of my favs to date. It's a perfecr EDC and just a great user. Welcome to the madness...

Not just for beginners however... ALL the Game Wardens that I own, and what did I pick up at BLADE? ...Yeah, just what I need...another one,

Congrats, Buckles!! :) ...But I gotta warn ya. As with most Busse knives, Game Wardens are like Lays potato chips. Ya just can't stop at one! ;)

If I still had my GW, I would have whipped you up a ghetto basic leather sheath for it.

Alas, I Sold my GW (a .22 pumpkin), because I had a BAD that got used more.

You will enjoy it!
 
I have a feeling I just started another expensive addiction. Knife should be here tomorrow. I'll post pics as soon as it comes.
 
ITS HERE! Looks like its the Black Urban Warden, which i believe is .20". It has a gray coating with black micarta scales. Ill get pics up soon. I need to get a sheath for this thing now.
