First Busse, question about wait time.

How long is the typical wait time for a Busse order? I ordered my first Busse and am just curious. I've got an Argonne Attack black with maroon canvas with my name on it and am anxiously awaiting my first INFI and Busse. What are you all waiting on and how long is your wait normally?
 
It's going to be a while most likely. Nobody knows for sure though. Congrats on your first Busse! Also, you might want to use the search on the forum because there are quite a few threads on the subject. Congrats and welcome to the madness\!
 
Could be awhile, lately it seems to be all over the chart, depending on what the order is. Settle in, it'll be worth it in the end, and remember Randall Knives is running 4-5 years on new orders.
 
The website currently says 4-16 weeks. I expect they've been getting progressively more backlogged since they started been doing "operation two weeks" last August (?), and knives I ordered in early November (SFNO BG, AMS BG) haven't started hitting people's credit cards yet. While a couple (ASH-2, American Regulator) have come in in under 4 weeks, for the Argonne Attack, I'd expect something a lot closer to 16 (and maybe longer). But like zmbhntr said, no one really knows for sure.
 
Order your blades to wait and then buy from the forum/Knifehunter/etc to get you by until they get to you!
 
That's good to hear. I'm actually a little happy to hear that the wait is going to be on the long side. Got a few other odds and ends to pick up to finish an AR build so the cc will get a break for a bit between.

Meh, Randall knives never did anything for me. If I wanted a similar design I'd likely just order a Blackjack that's in stock.
 
CZ/ZT, BGASH about 9 weeks, BGTG 14 weeks, American Regulator just 2 weeks. A lot of factors figure in to the wait. The wait is tough, I won't lie. When you get that Blade in your hand, all that waiting time will be forgot. Just as others said check the exchange, something will catch your eye.
 
Yea you can find some crazy blades unexpectedly, I randomly found the MOASS.

I've bought 6 Busse's since May, one from the custom shop, 2 from operation 2 weeks (so far ) and the rest from various places/people

I scored an Argonne Attack too, and I'm thinking something like 16 - 20 weeks.
Last DING I got was for the Chop House, and am also waiting on BGAK's and DTBM's.
 
Busse will charge you (Credit Card) for a particular knife, and then within 10 work days usually mail it out

Probably going to pass on the W.T.F. Next time I buy one where I have to ask myself "W.T.F. would I do with that?", it's going to be a Long Gladius or a Short Butaniku.

I don't even remember.

Best I can recall. My BG TG and janitors closet ad will get paid for and shipped next week... after that I still have:

BG Ak (2), BG AMS & SFNO, BAe, SHe, BoomP and bgWTF. I don't think there's anything else, but I could've forgotten something.

After checking my emails, I also have a BM double talon ordered.

Sheesh I'm gonna have to ask Andy if he .knows where an extra street corner is...

I was sort of surprised at how loong the list had gotten. It doesn't look like so much when you spread it over half a dozen emails.
