First Busse: SAR-8 B&T
I just got my first Busse, a SAR-8 B&T. Got the MashedCat Tek-lok sheath as well.
The blade edge has a slight ¼ inch shiny spot 1 1/2 inches from the tip. Is this a dull spot?
What should I do with it? Sharpening steel? Arkansas Stone?
I have read other more technical posts on sharpening and in time will try to achieve that level of care.
I am new to Busse Knives, I assume it is ok to split small logs into kindling with this and the TB CG
I also have on order? Overall I am very impressed with the SAR-8 and plan to carry it deer hunting this season.
Any other advice would be appreciated.
