Hi there gents,
Just received my first ever Busse and it is a custom shop SOB.I always wanted one just so I can see all the great things people are talking about those knives.First of all the grip which is one of the main things for me in any knife is amazing.SOB fits like a glove. It is not a big knife nor heavy but feels like a tank.Quality build is amazing.Feels like it can go through hell and back and stay in one piece.I did not get a sheath for it but if anyone can help me or point where I can get either leather or kydex sheath would be greatly appreciated. Will post early pic and soon will take more when go camping in end of the september. Can't wait to put this pup through some work.
In the end any advice for maintaining the INFI blade steel or it's similar to any other carbon steel, clean dry and oil on.Cheers.

Congrats on a a great first knife. The competition finish on the SOB is some of the best finishes there is IMO.

Thanks. Why excatly is called competion finish and what would be the main difference compared to satin and other blade finishes?
I did also notice some maker marks on the blade, makes it a real user IMO.

Love my SOB for the same reasons you stated. It's not big and heavy but it has just the right amount of heft to let you know that it's bulletproof.

Comp finish means that the steel was left basically in its raw state. No surface grinding was done to remove the surface dimples in the steel. Gives it that " Please beat me" appearance. Congrats.

Thank you.

This exactly. Also, the comp finish looks a bit different on different knives, and on the SOB the dimples and machine marks look better than on most blades, at least to me.

Congrats and welcome!

Your first, and probably not your last. My advice would be to sell that knife immediately and run away! Forget you ever were here!

No? Well ... you have been warned. You are on the road to perdition.

But I can't think of a better groups of folks to be on the road with! :D

Congrats man! The SOB was my first piece of INFI, and I love it.

Gird your wallet, lest it stray too close to the Hog Trough and get emptied!

Few more pics, and thanks guys for kind words.Cheers.
