I was curious how many of you Hogs still have your first Busses. And I suspect that the first one you ordered was not the first you received. The first knife I ordered was the FBMLE. The first one I received was the the Muddy Mojo. Lucky for me I still have both. Oh yeah, please include pics

First received

Many more followed...

my first was a FBMLE, modded by Bill Siegle. Still have it, but then, I have only had less than a year.

My first was a LMS. Just missed the initial offering, but someone from Wauseon contacted me on the side and sold one of his w/ an OnScene/Tac sheath. That was my first experience with the great way the Busse crew deals with their customers. My first order was for either an AS or PH. I don't recall which was offered first.

Here's what I had 6 years ago. They are ALL still with me. :)

That's a canine with taste in knives, very rare in dogs they won't usually spend the extra money

The first few from the Exchange & the ARK I scored off of that 'Bay place. The red GW was the very first scored. All in this pic are still with me.:

All in these pix are still with me except all 27 Skelly GW's... I think I've got 9 or 10 of them left... However, when selling these, I remained true to my word given at the time here on the Busse forum that none were to be, a.) sold on the 'Bay &, b.) none "flipped" for anywhere remotely near twice their price.

I still have it. First one I bought from BCS was a Warden of some sort. First from Busse was the CCGFBM.

This is my first Ganza knife rehandled and refinished by Busse
I have not yet been able to bring myself to sell even one of mine

I no longer have the BAIII

My First Busse knives were ordered 01/05/1999 and 01/06/1999, there were four for me, one for my older Son a few for my Daddy Inlaw and one or two for friends.

Ten in all, paid for the first week of 1999.

Some thing over 10 months later, I got about half and was able to drive a few hundred miles and pick up the rest a few weeks later.

My four knives were an SHBM a SHSH, a SHBA and a Mean Street, all in INFI, all Slotted screws.

Of these four knives, I have sold only the Badger.

My Son still has His, and my Daddy Inlaw sold or traded all of what He started with.

My Badger went to New Jersy.

My first? A Bird's Beaked Steel Heart II in 1994, followed shjortly thereafter by a Badger Attack. Still have both.

It is truly amazing what great taste we have. I am not putting down GW's at all, though I do not yet own one, but I half expected to see a lot of them in this thread. Instead I see a bunch of people who jumped into the world of Busse with both feet and a fistful of cash. Congrats to us all.
